Vaccination booklet vaccinees

Fully vaccinated persons (2 vaccinations or 1 Janssen-Johnson vaccination) can enter Colombia without PCR or antigen testing. Upon arrival, you must be able to show the (original) vaccination booklet. You no longer have to show a QR code at hospitality and events.

Children under 18 do not need to show proof of vaccination to enter Colombia.

Note: Dust masks are still mandatory only on public transportation and in hospitals and other healthcare facilities.

PCR / Antigen test unvaccinated people

Non-vaccinees can enter with a negative PCR test (within 72h) or a negative antigen test (within 48h).

Children under 18 do not need to show a negative PCR test (or vaccination certificate) to enter Colombia.

MIG Immigration Form

The form can be found here complete online. This must be done within 24h and 1h before departure. You will then receive a confirmation in your email (also check your spam folder). Print the mail and show it at immigration. If you did not receive an email, please do take a screenshot of the completed form so you have something to show.

Tip: The Netherlands is under Paises Bajos, not Holanda!

Passport
  • Your passport must still be valid for at least 6 months upon departure from Colombia
  • Children need their own travel document
Address Colombia

By the immigration officer, you will be asked what your address is in Colombia. Make sure, that you can show your reservation(s), at least for the first night. Upon request, you must be able to show a return ticket or transit ticket.

Visa?

With Dutch or Belgian citizenship, you do not need a visa. You may stay in Colombia for a maximum of 90 days.

yellow fever vaccination certificate?

If you are coming from Brazil, you may be asked for your yellow fever vaccination certificate. Also, if you go to Caño Cristales Natural Park, a yellow fever vaccination is mandatory and you must be able to show the vaccination certificate.
