Die urspr\u00fcngliche Kathedrale wurde 1954 von Arbeitern gebaut, die sich f\u00fcr einen Platz entschieden hatten, an dem sie sich verschleiern konnten. Sie errichteten eine bescheidenere Kapelle in einem Teil der Stadt, der nicht l\u00e4nger bewohnt war. Sp\u00e4ter wurde diese Kapelle in eine gr\u00f6\u00dfere Kirche umgewandelt, die zu einer religi\u00f6sen und religi\u00f6sen Volksversammlung umgewandelt wurde. Durch strukturelle Instabilit\u00e4ten und Verschleierungsprobleme wurde die erste Kathedrale 1992 zerst\u00f6rt.      <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>De huidige zoutkathedraal (1995 &#8211; heden)<br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bei der Fertigstellung der ersten Kathedrale wurde ein neues Projekt gestartet, um eine vielseitigere und noch unruhigere Version der Kathedrale zu bauen. Der Bau der neuen Kathedrale begann 1991 und wurde 1995 unter der Leitung des kolumbianischen Architekten Roswell Garavito Pearl fertiggestellt. Die neue Kathedrale wurde auf einer H\u00f6he von 180 Metern \u00fcber dem Boden in der Au\u00dfenfassade errichtet und verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber eine Fl\u00e4che von mehr als 8.500 vierkantigen Metern. Das Bauwerk besteht aus enormen G\u00e4ngen, unbeweglichen Skulpturen und Altaren und Kruisen, die das Leben, den Tod und die Unsterblichkeit von Jesus Christus symbolisieren.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Ein wundersch\u00f6nes Meisterwerk<br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Am heutigen Tag wird die Zoutkathedraal von Zipaquir\u00e1 als eine der gr\u00f6\u00dften religi\u00f6sen und religi\u00f6sen Attraktionen Kolumbiens bezeichnet. Au\u00dferdem haben wir den Eindruck gewonnen, dass es einen Platz f\u00fcr einen Kirchendienst gibt, an dem wir waren. Wir haben uns an eine Gruppe Spaanstalige Toeristen gewandt, weil wir keine Engelstalige gids te zien wollten. Der Mann tat sein Bestes und war sehr enthusiastisch, aber er ging auch auf die religi\u00f6sen Vorstellungen der verschiedenen Kulturen ein.
