Travel documents
Here you will find all the information you need, about travel documents for Colombia: MIG immigration form, passport and rules about covid-19 vaccination and other vaccinations.
MIG Immigration Form
The form can be found here complete online. This must be done within 24h and 1h before departure. You will get a confirmation in your email (check your spam folder). Print the email and show it to immigration. If you did not receive the email, make a screenshot of the completed form so you have something to show them.
Tip: In Spanish, the Netherlands is under Paises Bajos, not Holanda!
Note! There are also private agencies with a website that charge a fee for filling out the MIG form. The regular, free way, is to fill it out through this government website.
Officially, you also have to fill out the MIG form when you leave Colombia again. We have never been asked for this. When we inquired about this with the immigration officer, she said that they can see in their system who has filled out the form, but that it is not actually made difficult if someone has not filled it out.
Covid rules?
-update June 2024-
There are no more Covid rules to enter Colombia. Vaccinated people are not asked for the vaccination booklet and unvaccinated people do not have to show a negative PCR test or antigen test.
Note: Mouth caps are not mandatory and are still only recommended on public transportation and in hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
